Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. If you see a picture over there, it should tell you how TLRR is going.

On to the next project

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. This is called "Lonely Red Rose". This should become a "I'm truly sorry for your losses" present for a friend, who has lost both her FIL and grandmother back to back. I can't replace her loss, but I can show her I care. I hope she gets the message.

Another FO and a knitting break

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. Now "The Lilacs" is a FO (Finished Object). I packed it away, so that as soon as the frosty weather calms down, I can take it and the Lion King to the local post office and send them to the local Framing Man. He knows what to do with them.
Now that one more canvas has been stitched to the last stitch, I knit another arm of the bear I call Ascanius. Lavinia has already traveled to the next destination from here, but that place isn't her final home. I hope my friend will stitch Lavinia together and embroiders her name on her body. The friend also has to add Lavinia a face. And she must do the same for Ascanius. But Ascanius will join Lavinia a bit later. Ascanius is Lavinia's mate. Ascanius & Lavinia are my surprise to the little princess far in the south.
Once Ascanius' arm nr. 2 is done, I can grab another canvas and stitch it. That way I don't need to feel bad conscience about neglecting either projects.

Another WIP for processing

Hi, dear readers!
Here I sit again, talking about my needlepoint projects as usual. This is "Sorry for your loss" gift for an elderly friend far in the north. She lost her husband last year. I feel bad for her. When I found this and one darker canvas, I knew both of them had to be "My condolences" kind of gifts, and that is what this one will be, once I've put the last stitch in place.
You may ask, if I knitted between this and the LK. Oh yes I did, but that is a part of a project, so I had to save it. I will probably send it away as soon as I have all the parts in containers. It's easier that way. But here's the project I call simply "Lilacs".
